Privacy Policy

CiDrep SickKids Foundation values the trust of families, donors, volunteers, partners, and website visitors and is committed to responsible handling of personal information.

Information we handle

Personal information may be provided when you contact the Foundation, make a donation through a third-party payment provider, request assistance through an approved process, volunteer, fundraise, or otherwise communicate with us. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Donations and third-party services

Online donations are processed through third-party payment services. Payment-card information entered on a third-party payment page is handled under that provider's privacy and security practices. CiDrep SickKids Foundation does not operate a payment-card form on this website.

Family assistance and sensitive information

Requests for assistance may involve sensitive health, financial, or family information. Do not send medical records, tax documents, diagnoses, or other sensitive materials through a general website or general-purpose email channel unless the Foundation has provided an approved submission method for that request.

Website information

This website does not currently use advertising trackers or a general-purpose analytics package in its application code. Standard web-hosting logs may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps for security and operational purposes.

Children's stories and images

Stories and images of children are published only when the Foundation has appropriate permission to use them. Questions or requests concerning a published story or image may be directed to the Privacy Officer.

Use, disclosure, retention, and safeguards

Personal information is used for the purpose for which it was collected, for related operational purposes, or as required by law. The Foundation applies safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information and retains information only as reasonably necessary for its purpose and applicable obligations.

Your questions and requests

Questions, corrections, access requests, or concerns about privacy may be directed to [email protected].

This website policy reflects the current public-site configuration. The Foundation may update this policy as its services, technology, or legal obligations change.
