Dr. Michael W. Craige is the founding director of the CiDrep SickKids Foundation and an NSF-funded research Scientist at Rutgers University. Dr. Craige's research involves the use of computational genomics approaches to understand and convey insights into human disease research, digital healthcare innovation, and philanthropy to improve child health.
Since founding the Foundation in August 2017, he has provided essential support to families in need of medical care. As a respected advocate in the nonprofit sector, he oversees the organization, ensuring the effective use of funds. Dr. Craige's previous role as a consultant for IBM, CEO of CiDrep Informatics, Inc., and research work at Emory University School of Medicine demonstrate his diverse experience.
Through his strategic leadership and expertise, Dr. Craige has laid the foundation for the CiDrep SickKids Foundation's success in funding child health care and transforming the lives of sick children. Together with the Foundation, corporate support, individual donors, and volunteers, he aims to provide vital support to children in need and create a future where all sick children can receive the care they require, get well, and find comfort during difficult times.
He holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University, an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master in Health Service (MHS) from Keller Graduate School of Management. His research work, funded by the CCC/CRA and the NSF, contributes to prostate cancer research.
