Meet Kelcey
14-year old Kelcey was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in October 2011 and subsequently relapsed in February 2016. She continues to be seen by her physician as well as by multiple other subspecialists in Atlanta for ongoing treatment, care, and monitoring. Please join us in support of Kelcey today!
Meet Santiago
Santiago was diagnosed with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome/velocardiofacial syndrome, pharyngeal flap repair, cardiac issues (adenovirus myocarditis, heart failure, aortic root dilation, and CVA), tracheostomy and G-tube dependence. Every day he uses an Optiflow Trach Adaptor with O2 at 4 L/min (FIO2 30%) during the day and a Trilogy vent in BIPAP ST mode with rate 12, IPAP 10, EPAP 5, ITime 1.0 seconds with O2 at 1 to 4 L/min at night. Four-year-old Novlin is a loving child, always with a happy smile, as he bravely fights every day against a neurology-related disorder. Meet Zykeria
At 10 years old, she developed necrotizing enterocolitis which resulted in short gut syndrome. Due to her illness, she is unable to consume enough calories and nutrition by mouth to survive. Zykeria is listed for a small bowel transplant at the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. We supported the family's request for financial assistance to cover the hotel costs for Zykeria's appointment at the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Please join us in support of Ava today!
Meet Michael
Michael, "Superman” at only 14 days old was diagnosed with an aggressive and difficult Malignant Brain Cancer. His journey with cancer treatment consisted of two major brain surgeries, six high-dose chemotherapy treatments, and hundreds of needles in his precious little body... Tracheostomy and Ventilator dependence. Even when Michael had bad days... his infectious personality always drew people and nurses towards him...blowing him kisses & smiling... Michael was a warrior! Unfortunately, this year cancer came back again...and on April 21, 2020, at only 11 months old his journey with cancer came to an end.
Meet Ashlynn
At 6-months-old, Baby Ashlynn was diagnosed with semantic overgrowth. She had surgery to remove the tumor and is currently on clinical trial medication and suffers from sleepiness, pain, body cramps, vision issues, and always thirst. Baby Ashlynn, is always happy, full of joy, and an exuberant child whose smile, unfortunately, doesn’t reflect her situation. Please join us in support of Ashlynn today.
Meet Ayphia
Ayphia is happy, full of joy, and an exuberant child whose smile, unfortunately, doesn’t reflect her situation. Meet Ayphia, a 14 months old with congenital hyperinsulinism /hypoglycemia, feeding difficulty, GERD, and a history of GI Bleeding. Since May 2019, she has been hospitalized and her family has had difficulty maintaining their finances. The CiDrep Sickkids team and supporters were there to help with the care she needs.
Meet Aidyn
Baby Aidyn, an 11-years old with a very complicated medical history, with treatments for a malignant sacrococcygeal teratoma in 2009. His complications include gastroparesis, intestinal dysmotility, neurogenic bladder, and renal tubular dysfunction. He is getting the best care from multiple specialists, however, the ongoing out-of-pocket expenses related to Aidyn’s care are putting his family in financial challenges. Meet Sa'Mara
At 5 months and 10 days old she underwent traumatic cardiac surgery illness, blood emesis, and other medical conditions. Sa' Mara is from a single-parent family, with one source of income, and Mom is utterly overwhelmed financially and has exhausted all funds because of her care. Our team and supporters immediately generate funds for needed care and transportation during her surgeries and recovery.
Meet Nalani
Nalani was diagnosed at age 1 with cerebral palsy and chronic lung disease. She is now 10 years old with a history of ongoing illness and care. The CiDrep Sickkids team and generous donors were able to assist her family with payments for her Pulse Oximeter equipment and care. Unfortunately, Nalani passed due to her illness. Meet Darrell
Darrell, a 12-years-old, diagnosed with DIPG (a form of Brain cancer). It is highly aggressive and difficult to treat brain tumors found at the base of the brain. Darrell passed away on Friday, March 2, 2019. He no longer suffers from cancer that stole so much from him and his family. His life was a blessing. His memory a treasure, and he was loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Rest peacefully, Darrell.
