Michael W. Craige, MBA, PhD

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Craige has been the CEO of CiDrep SickKids Foundation since Aug. 2017

CiDrep SickKids Foundation is responsible for raising funds for any hospital providing care for children, medical research, a child or person, in respect of medical care, and other activities related to the health of children. The Foundation is the only US charity foundation with funding programs for all sick children, irrespective of illness or disease. Michael received his BS in Biomedical Informatics, from DeVry University and works in Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) consulting, and as an entrepreneur at CiDrep Informatics, prior to founding the foundation.
His role is to set the vision to inspire the organization to achieve its goals, and mission clarity, steer the strategy and ensure sufficient resources are available for all children. He is an active community volunteer and a strong child health advocate. Michael was named a Computing Innovation Research Fellow with funding from NSF in July 2021. He holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, a Masters in Health Services Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management, and an MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
